What's in a name?

Encierro comes from the Spanish word enclose or corral. It is often heard in the context of the annual Encierro or running with the bulls summertime festival in Pomplona, Spain.  The imagery of this event helps tell the story of Encierro Technologies.  That is:

• Bulls represent the unwieldy and fast charging issues often found in IT departments.

• Runners in front of the bulls represent the consultants and specialists from Encierro Technologies driving and containing the issues along the way to resolution.

• Matadors or bullfighters represent the IT leadership.

• Bullrings or arenas are where IT leadership can resolve the issues in a more controlled, predictable environment in full public view.

• It is the job of the Encierro Technologies consultants and specialists to bring the high-risk, uncontrolled issues into a more controlled environment where proper governance and leadership can more readily complete the bigger-picture goals and objectives.

• Encierro continues to work with the metadors as a rodeo protection athlete in the bullring until the issues are resolved.
